Foods that we ate

During our three-day, two-night vacation in Cameron Highland, we sampled a variety of cuisines. We really enjoyed the foods because it suits our taste with affordable prices.

    Day 1

            Breakfast

We had our breakfast at Yong Teng Cafe on our first day in Cameron        Highland. We asked for some recommendation from the waiter and she     recommend us their most famous foods among the locals which is Nasi     Lemak and Fruit Pancake. We were wonder and curious about the taste    of their Nasi Lemak until it becomes the most ordered food and now       we know the reason of it. The taste of their Nasi Lemak is savory and         the portion is enough for one person.

Then, we simply ordered one fruit pancake and split it amongst the five of us because the portion is substantial. It is more like crepes with the top is full with fruits like berries and an ice cream.

Lunch: Ferm Nyonya Restaurant

It is a Chinese restaurant that offered Nyonya dishes and steamboat which is a group-friendly dining. Our particular favourites were the fragrant smokey fried kuay teow, the sizzling steak, and the Steamboat  which is a must try dishes since they offered a very fresh vegetarian option. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Cameron Highland. The service is unmatched and the staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing, everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in town. Highly recommend!

Teatime: Strawberry Cottage

All their desserts are homemade and worth it to try. Cendol Cheesecake and Pandan Layer Café are one of their desserts that we must try. Other than that, their matcha tiramisu, chocolate Belgium and strawberry tea became our favorite dessert in here.

It was a great experience and the ambiance is very welcoming and charming. They had amazing drinks, food and service because the staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations for us.

Dinner: Atilla Steamboat

We paid RM30 per person and it was worth it. It's a tremendous pleasure in life to experience the warmth and spiciness in the pot during the chilly season in Cameron Highland. This spot gives extraordinary service and yummy meals. It becomes our favorite restaurants around town because the meals served rapidly and the rates were reasonable. It is highly recommended for those who like to experience warmth and spiciness in Cameron Highland.

Day 2

Breakfast: The Lord’s Café

We ordered scones, chicken pie, apple pie, hash browns, and an egg sandwich, as well as hot chocolate and tea to drink for our breakfast. It was a great way to start our second day in Cameron Highland because their delicious foods really boost our energy.

This place is elegant with an awesome vibe and the service was speedy. Their foods are absolutely incredible.

Lunch: Barracks Café

We had pasta aglio olio, fish and chips, and smoked salmon salad, all of which were excellent. The best thing was that we were eating in the middle of a garden with gentle music playing in the background and providing a relaxing atmosphere.

Delicious food, waiters are very attentive, and super nice atmosphere. Plus it’s all at an affordable price and totally recommend it.

Teatime: Kea Farm hipster Café

We had a great time drinking high tea here. The scones, as well as the sweet pastries on the top shelf, were buttery, warm, and excellent. The sandwiches, particularly the cucumber and cream cheese ones, were extremely tasty. Everything about this place was fantastic.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide drinks list and wonderful dessert. We recommend it to everyone! We would like to come back here again and again.

Dinner: Singh Chapati Urban Restaurant

We tried butter masala paneer, chicken masala, mixed veg, and plain paratha, all of which were delicious and perfectly spiced to our taste buds.

Absolutely amazing place to eat, we will be making a reservation for our next visit in Cameron Highland. 10 of 10 for every single aspect of this meal, and this is coming from people who know and love great food!

Day 3

Breakfast: Uncle Chow Kopitiam

We tried the curry laksa and nasi lemak and both were nice and enjoyable. They served delicious cuisine, ample portions, and wonderful proprietors.

The menus options are an excellent value. The dining experience overall is very pleasant and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Lunch: Taman Apple Cameron Steamboat and Grill Restaurant

We ordered the buffet lunch, which included items such as grilled chicken, lamb, and squid. The grill squid was the menu's winner, thanks to its juicy tender deliciousness and low price. A special meal, strawberry kerabu or salad, is also available.

Everything about this restaurant was great, the place was clean and smelled good. Also, the staff and greeter was very nice. The food was fresh and awesome.

Teatime: Mr. Aisu Ice cream

We ordered a strawberry waffle, which was fantastic, and they utilized high-quality, fresh ingredients. The waffles are crunchy, toasty, and freshly made, with delicious strawberries, and a passion fruit sorbet that we really enjoyed.

Their ice cream is fresh and creamy, with a variety of seasonal flavours. For dark chocolate connoisseurs like us, their callebaut brownie was pure bliss.

Dinner: Gonbei Steamboat

The steamboat was excellent and provided a wide range of options. The Tom Yum and Veggie broths were both delicious, and the restaurant had a pleasant environment. The meat was of excellent quality, and the fresh vegetable stuff was outstanding. Even without boiling anything in it, the soup stock is flavorful.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and we can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good and the seafood is very fresh. For their prices it’s 100% worth it.
