After Vacation: About The Trip
Good Morning all. Today I woke up with a grateful heart. It has been days since we got home from the trip. But the thrill of going to a holiday with friends seems like will never go away. Sipping tea in the morning feels nostalgic. Today, I chose the strawberry flavored tea that I bought at Cameron Highland to pair with some scones with strawberry jam. Yum. Definitely my favourite.
While enjoying my morning tea, my phone vibrates indicating messages coming through. It is from Darwisyah. She is sending photos that we took on the trip. We took lots and lots of pictures and videos from the moment we arrived at the gathering spot until we part at the end of the trip. It is no wonder that my photos album on my phone was filled by them.
Nonetheless, the trip was fun and exciting. Its a shame that it is only 3 days and 2 nights trip. It has been a long time since we gathered and spend time together. I wish we could spend more time like we used to before the pandemic happened. This trip would surely be the most memorable thing to remember for many years to come.
The stories we told and shared on the nights was precious, it reminds me of how that was a routine for all of us back at the college. Even though we stayed up late, once the morning came, everyone was so excited that suddenly waking up in the morning is not such a hassle anymore. All those times we spent together in the car rides, the Cameron Highland farms and the meals, make us feel like a family, a bond that will never break. Everyone was there for each other, we all know our responsibilities to take care of each other, chip in for petrol and food to be fair and square. It was so thrilling that we had already planned for our next trip.
